Chestnut Bun Slow-Rise Silicone Squishy

The Chestnut Bun is a hand-poured food-grade silicone squishy that takes roughly seven seconds to return to shape after being pressed flat. Its surface is finished in the matte dry-clay texture collectors know as 干巴泥 — not glossy, not sticky. Available now at TODO FUN.

Is food-grade silicone edible?

No. Food-grade describes the safety of the material, not that it can be eaten. It is non-toxic to handle but must never be eaten.

How is silicone different from a foam squishy?

Polyurethane foam squishies typically crack, dry out and shed within months. Food-grade silicone holds its texture for one to three years of daily use and washes clean with mild soap and lukewarm water.

Why does mine look slightly different from the photo?

Every piece is cast and finished by hand, so colour, size and surface finish vary a little between units. That variation is inherent to hand-casting.
